The Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in North America annual award acknowledges top employers that display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces. To apply for this award, companies from any industry can submit a nomination outlining details of Achievers’ Eight Elements of Employee Engagement: Communication, Leadership, Culture, Rewards & Recognition, Professional & Personal Growth, Accountability & Performance, Vision & Values and Corporate Social Responsibility. The panel of judges who reviewed the nominations included various academics and thought leaders on employee engagement, and included representation from organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Capital Institute, and Human Resource Executive. Becker’s Hospital Review “150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare” list features both healthcare providers as well as other types of healthcare-specific companies, such as consulting firms, health IT vendors, medical societies and more. A version of this list has been published every year since 2011.
The organizations featured on the list were selected by the Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team who reviewed the nominations submitted on behalf of an organization. The selections are based on workforce-centric awards received, benefits offerings, wellness initiatives, and efforts to improve professional development, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and a sense of community and unity among employees.
