We are pleased to announce Tarek Elsawy, MD has accepted the position of President and CEO of Reliant Medical Group. An internist, Dr. Elsawy comes to us from Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio where he has spent nine years in various executive roles. Dr. Elsawy will join us in early 2016. Dear Dr. Elsawy,When we heard the news you are leaving the Cleveland Clinic Steve and i were vary sad and unhappy because you took care of us for 20 years.It started with my mother Catherine LoPorto when you took care of her in the emergency room at Marymount Hospital in 1995 and 4 more members of our family followed and we are al still patients.
We wish you the best in your new venture and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Your move from the Cleveland Clinic to Reliant is Cleveland Clinic’s loss and Reliant’s assurance of
a bright future centered on actual patient care- which should be what Reliant is all about. Perhaps your biggest challenge will be to maintain your direct patient contact without being overwhelmed
by administrative duties- which as CEO is always enough busy work to keep 3 CEO’s occupied full time. Hopefully the Reliant board will be bright enough to be aware of that fact and thereby protect you from drowning in “busy detail work” rather than growing the business based on exceptional customer care by ALL Reliant employees.
