Medicare Open Enrollment for 2019 begins this fall and runs from October 15th – December 7th. This is the time of year when most seniors have the option of making changes to their Medicare plan, including prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D). Remember that each year there may be some changes to the plans offered by Medicare and your insurance company.
Keep in mind that most people are only allowed to make a change to their Medicare Plans during the Open Enrollment period each fall.
If you are under 65 years of age and haven’t joined Medicare yet, remember that you are eligible to join Medicare during the seven-month period that begins three months before the month you turn 65.
