A graduate of Fitchburg State College and the Boston University School of Social Work, Amy chose to be an LICSW in order to help others reach their full potential. “I enjoy providing individual counseling as well as care coordination. My greatest passion has always been working with young people as I always enjoy their fun and unique personalities,” she explains.
Amy strives hard to treat all patients as individuals and cater their treatment to meet their individual needs. “I use a systematic approach and strive to understand how the different aspects of a patient’s life affect their current functioning. I also focus on trauma as I understand that trauma comes in many different forms and impacts all patients differently.”
Amy enjoys getting to know different individuals and learning about changes they want to make in their lives. “I love seeing growth in the therapeutic relationships I build with patients and the improvements they make over the course of treatment,” she explains. “It’s very satisfying to see people make progress and improve their lives.”
When she is not busy seeing patients Amy enjoys being with her family, especially activities with her two daughters. She also enjoys shopping and scouting out bargains whenever she can.
