A graduate of UMass Amherst and the UMass Worcester Graduate School of Nursing, Christine previously worked as a pediatric nurse before becoming an advanced practitioner. A parent herself, Christine truly relishes working with patients, especially children. “Kids are the best,” she explains. “There is such an opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives and the lives of their family when you care for them.” As a nurse practitioner, Christine likes to approach care in a holistic manner. “Not only do I hope to treat and prevent disease, but I also consider how the care I provide affects the daily life of patients and their family.” Practicing in pediatrics, Christine loves to form long-term relationships with her patients, “It’s really fascinating to watch children grow and change with each visit, and one of the things that makes pediatrics special.” In her spare time Christine enjoys practicing yoga, swimming, and going for hikes. She also enjoys cooking and crafts when she is home.
