Dr. Jennifer Chiang is a board certified pediatrician at the Framingham location of Reliant Medical Group. Dr. Chiang is a Boston area native with strong ties to the community, having completed her undergraduate, medical school and residency training in the greater Boston area at Brandeis University, the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, respectively. During her pediatric residency, Dr. Chiang was regarded highly by her colleagues and was given an award for excellence in teaching and mentoring junior residents.
One of Dr. Chiang’s passions is international health. This interest spawned during medical school, where she spent time volunteering in Costa Rica promoting public health, and was later nurtured by a trip to Ecuador during residency where she worked in a rural clinic. Dr. Chiang is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, and enjoys the opportunity to employ these language skills in the care of her patients.
Following graduation from residency, Dr. Chiang was a staff physician in the pediatric emergency department at South Shore Hospital. She greatly enjoyed her work in the emergency setting, however decided to join Reliant Medical Group to fulfill her desire to provide continuity of care in a primary care setting, and to build lasting relationships with patients and their families.
