Dr. Buckman has been practicing internal medicine since 1993 and joined the organization in 2002. She enjoys practicing internal medicine because it lets her treat the whole person and establish a long term personal relationship with her patients. “I love helping people, biology, and the human body. I believe prevention can keep you healthy.” When asked about her philosophy of care, Dr. Buckman explains that she works with her patients as a partner, keeping herself as the “coach”. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her kids, draw/sketch, travel, and various athletic activities like skiing, hiking, running, and biking.
