Lauren started her career in healthcare as a registered dietitian before becoming a registered nurse and then a family nurse practitioner. “After working as a registered dietitian, often with teams of caregivers including advanced practitioners, I realized that I wanted to pursue a career as an nurse practitioner in order to do more to help others,” she explains. “I chose to become a family nurse practitioner to be able to treat patients of all ages and to focus on the importance of primary care.”
Lauren is a strong believer in providing individualized care for her patients. “There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to medicine,” she explains. “I approach care by listening to my patient’s concerns and helping them meet their own health goals.” Each day she practices at Reliant Lauren tries to establish good rapport with her patients and create long-lasting relationships. “I love that I have the opportunity to get to know my patients while helping them with their various medical needs.”
In her spare time Lauren enjoys running and ran her first full marathon in 2021. She also loves dancing and previously taught dance classes to preschoolers. She also enjoys hiking, cooking new recipes, and spending quality time with her growing family.
