A graduate of MCPHS University, Lauren has been a practicing physician assistant since 2012. Lauren chose to work in Internal Medicine because it allows her to take care of a wide range of patients including age and medical condition. She also likes the fact that Internal Medicine gives her an opportunity to get to know her patients and build long-lasting relationships with them. Lauren likes to approach each of her patients as an individual. “No two patients are the same,” she explains. “That’s why I work hard to understand the unique differences so I can provide the most appropriate and effective treatment plan for each one.” One of the things that Lauren enjoys the most about being a physician assistant is that she gets to work closely with her supervising physician while also being autonomous. “One of the challenges we face is having our patients fully understand the role of an advanced practitioner and all what we have to offer in terms of the care we can provide.” When she is not busy with patients, Lauren enjoys singing and crafting and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
