Dr. Cozzens has been practicing medicine for 22 years, all of which have been with this organization. She chose to go into pediatrics because she loves talking to kids and watching children and families grow over time. She has even had the privilege of caring for the children of some of her former patients. Dr. Cozzens believes that the core of providing great care is “taking the time to hear their concerns and working with patients and parents to come up with recommendations that are solid medically and make sense for the family.” She is conversant in American Sign Language and has been named a Deaf-Friendly Doctor by deafhealth.org. When she’s not working, Dr. Cozzens likes to spend time with her husband and children.

*Dr. Cozzens spent extra time with my child, going well into her lunch break to make sure my daughter was being heard. She is 16, so having a pediatrician who can talk to teenagers and explain things to parents while preserving trust is amazing.
