A graduate of Regis College, Lucy decided to become an advanced practitioner because she was interested in helping vulnerable populations and those who cannot advocate for themselves.
An experienced caregiver, Lucy enjoys practicing in the field of Rheumatology. “Autoimmune diseases have interested me since my early days of nursing school,” she explains. “Even when I was an oncology nurse, I stayed up-to-date with current research and breakthrough medical treatments for autoimmune conditions. I enjoy utilizing my background to contribute a unique perspective to the specialty.”
Lucy believes in applying the core principles of patient-centered care in her practice. “I pride myself on my ability to provide high quality, compassionate care to all my patients,” she explains. “One of the highlights of my career has been having the ability to provide patient-centered care while at the same time building trust and establishing sincere, respectful relationships with patients and their families.”
In her free time Lucy enjoys traveling and exploring new countries.
