A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Margaret has been involved in healthcare for over three decades. She made the decision to become a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist so she could provide more comprehensive care to her mental health clients and have the ability and knowledge to prescribe psychiatric medication. Margaret believes that providing care that addresses both physical and mental health is a more effective and holistic way to achieve and maintain overall wellness. “I believe in providing care that treats both mind and body,” she explains. Her practice at Reliant focuses on performing psychiatric evaluations, consults, and medication management for adults. Margaret is experienced in treating a full range of conditions including depression, anxiety, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and co-occurring substance use disorders. She enjoys learning about her patients and their concerns as well as consulting with their primary care provider to develop a holistic treatment plan that can help them feel better. In her spare time Margaret enjoys history, traveling, music, concerts and yoga.
