A graduate of Northeastern University, Margaret Kamin has been a nurse since 1973 and became an advanced practitioner in the year 2000. She enjoys working in the field of gastroenterology and finds it rewarding as well as challenging. Margaret enjoys the autonomy of being a nurse practitioner and working one-on-one with patients. She believes that care should be a collaborative effort between the patient and the provider. “I enjoy getting to know my patients and establishing a good relationship with them. I think that’s one of the best ways to help them receive the care they need.” During her free time Margaret enjoys being with friends as well as exercising and reading.
