"Part of being a good doctor, in my opinion, is to be a good listener..."
According to Dr. Rob Jandl, “In primary care, I have the wonderful ability to get to know my patients and their families over long periods of time. I value the relationships and friendships I have with my patients as much as I enjoy the art and science of medicine.”
In his practice Dr. Jandl enjoys working closely with his patients. “I think it is important for me to share as much information and insight as I can with my patients, to help them decide what is best for them,” he explains. “Part of being a good doctor, in my opinion, is to be a good listener, educator, and coach. By working closely together, we can come to the best decisions. It is vitally important that patients know they can trust me and that I will put their interests first.”
Jan Johnson, NP, and Amanda Griffin, NP, collaborate with Dr. Jandl in providing patient care. “Jan and Amanda are very talented clinicians,” Dr. Jandl explains. “We work well as a team and patients often tell me how much they enjoy and appreciate their care.”
When he is not busy helping his patients, Dr. Jandl enjoys a country lifestyle, including bee-keeping, gardening, and raising chickens, occasionally providing honey or eggs for office staff. Dr. Jandl also enjoys fly-fishing, hiking in the mountains, cross-country skiing, and spending time with his wife and four children.
