Sarah Loy Gifford received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. When she noticed the great need for medical providers specializing in the mental health field, it was a no-brainer where her degree would take her. Sarah is a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and sees patients of all ages, but she especially loves working with children and adolescents. She focuses on treating patients with anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and self-harm. When it comes to her philosophy of care, Sarah says that she believes that “there are multiple options for approaching and treating mental health.” She appreciates having easy access to primary care providers and other specialists at Reliant Medical Group who can assist her in providing holistic care. In her free time, Sarah enjoys running and being outdoors.
