Originally from Oklahoma, Sarah first worked in the field of business and finance after graduating from college. Longing for a way to more actively contribute to improving her community and helping others, she decided to pursue a career in nursing, eventually obtaining her Master’s in Nursing degree and becoming a nurse practitioner. The role of a nurse practitioner allows her to build trusting relationships with her patients and help create a positive impact in their overall health. Sarah especially enjoys the aspect of patient education and enjoys taking the time to answer questions and help patients better understand every aspect of their care. She is also a strong advocate of helping women enjoy better health. “I specialize in women’s health as I feel there is a strong need for providers who understand the additional challenges our female patients may face along their health and wellness journey,” she explains. When she is not busy with patients, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children. She also loves doing DIY projects and spends much of her free time (when the weather is warm) building and refinishing furniture for her home. “If I didn’t love my work so much, I would likely focus my energy on home and craft projects full time!”
