Q: Why is Reliant moving many of its offices by 2019?
A: Many of the facilities where we had been providing services have leases that are expiring in 2019. We see this as a wonderful opportunity to move into new buildings where we can design the space to fit the needs of our patients, providers, and staff.
Q: Where will the Reliant service sites be moving to?
A: All of our new offices will remain in Central Massachusetts. With just a couple of exceptions, our sites will remain in the same towns. Check here for more information about specific site relocations, including street addresses of our future new sites. Or, to search by provider, use this directory.
Q: When are these moves happening?
A: Moves began in late 2017, and the whole initiative will be complete by May 2019. Patients will be notified well in advance if their doctor’s office is moving.
Q: How will I get information about where my Reliant doctor will be?
A: We are conveying information about our upcoming moves in a variety of ways, including U.S. Mail, Facebook, Twitter, waiting room flyers, emails, MyChart, telephone calls, etc. We will be sure our patients know about all of the exciting changes that are occurring!
Q. How did you pick the new service locations?
A: We have been planning these moves for some time now. As part of our rigorous planning process, we looked at where our patients live, analyzed travel distances, and even conducted patient surveys. We believe all of this work has paid off because we have identified new locations that are easily accessible off of major roadways and situated in areas that are very familiar to residents of the area.
Q: Are there any locations that are NOT moving?
A: The following sites (and most, if not all, of the services within them) will not be moving to new locations:
- 761 Worcester Road, Framingham
- 64 Boyden Road, Holden
- 24-28 Newton Street, Southboro
- Specialty & Primary Care services at Worcester Medical Center, 123 Summer Street
Q: Will my doctor stay at Reliant? Will the staff?
A: Yes, our providers and staff are excited to be moving into new, modern facilities.
Q: What’s changing?
A: Our new medical offices are designed around the needs of our patients, providers, and staff. They have modern conveniences, including plenty of parking, nicely appointed waiting areas, state-of-the art exam rooms, and new technological features. What is NOT CHANGING is our caregivers’ commitment to providing our patients with top-quality care!
