Virtual Care Team List of Conditions Treated

If you are experiencing serious symptoms, such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, excessive bleeding or have sustained a serious injury, dial 911 immediately or go to the closest Emergency Room.

  • acid reflux
  • acne
  • cold symptoms
  • conjunctivitis (pink eye)
  • diarrhea/constipation
  • headache/migraines
  • medication adjustments
  • muscle spasm
  • neck pain
  • rash
  • sinus infection
  • sore throat
  • urinary tract infections

The Virtual Care team can also address these medical concerns:

  • Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, ADHD, contraception, arthritis, insomnia, eczema, kidney stones, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety, depression, and stress management
  • Review of abnormal blood work results
  • Discussion of screening tests (ex: mammogram, colonoscopy, lung cancer screening) for those at increased risk for cancer or with a history of an abnormal screening test
  • Assistance with quitting smoking
  • Obesity/weight loss treatment

Clinical Exclusions

The Virtual Care Team does not treat the following conditions:

  • Chest pain/palpitations
  • Shortness of breath
  • Active bleeding (ex: wound, nose, stool, vomiting)
  • New, severe headache or concussion evaluation
  • Genital symptoms (ex: genital rash, testicular pain, vaginal discharge)
  • Breast complaints
  • Pregnancy-related complaints
  • Severe burns
  • Allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, swelling of the mouth/lips/tongue); note: rashes are OK
  • Chemical/poison ingestion
  • Sudden change/loss of vision
  • Facial drooping, slurred speech, balance problems, or confusion
  • Injury sustained in a motor vehicle accident
  • Injury or condition sustained at work
