A graduate of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, SUNY at Buffalo and Northeastern University in Boston, Anuja is an experienced physical therapist. She first became interested in physical therapy after her grandfather became ill and received treatment. “Seeing my grandfather make a recovery without using medicine helped inspire me to become a skilled physical therapist,” she explains. “Now I strive to deliver exceptional quality of care to my patients.
Anuja enjoys treating all types of patients including geriatric patients and those with orthopedic and cardiac conditions. She is also working toward getting training and certification in Women’s Health. Anuja works hard to design an ideal physical therapy plan so her patients can enjoy the best functional outcome possible. “Over the past few years working as a physical therapist I have learned to treat the patient as a whole,” she explains. Anuja is highly experienced in the OTAGO Exercise Program that utilizes strength and balance exercises to prevent falls among frail older adults. “I love the opportunity to learn something new each day from the patients I see.”
