A graduate of Simmons College, Katherine is certified in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and comes to Reliant with many special interests, such as pelvic floor physical therapy, post-surgical orthopedic patients and Geriatrics. She takes a particular liking to working in Physical Therapy because it allows for her to watch patients progress and help those with various diagnoses. Katherine finds great importance in educating her patients, in order to ensure they can properly care for themselves. “I use my knowledge to enhance patient function and to educate patients so they have the tools they need to self-manage and keep themselves at their functional best.” As a health care facilitator, Katherine finds her job very rewarding and always strives to help her patients improve their function, both physically and mentally.
