A graduate of Worcester State University and Fitchburg State University, Andrea has long had a big interest in helping children which ultimately led her to becoming a licensed mental health counselor. “I have always worked with children in some capacity from afterschool programs to preschool and educational settings before becoming a counselor,” she explains. “As I started my work with children as a therapist, I had a real desire to help those who needed a little extra support and compassion.”

Andrea is very people-orientated in her practice at Reliant. Open and non-judgmental, she likes to use aspects of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy in her practice. “I have had trainings in CBT and mindfulness as well as extensive experience with children having school problems. I enjoy being a ‘safe’ person that children and adolescents can feel comfortable talking to about their feelings. I strive to normalize their experiences and empower them so that they can become the very best version of themselves”

In her spare time Andrea enjoys doing yoga, spending time with her family and son, and their dog Sam, a shih-tzu terrier.
