Learn more about Behavioral Health at Reliant
A graduate of Assumption College, Amy has worked in the mental health field since 1995 with both children and adults in a variety of settings. She believes each patient deserves to be treated with respectful curiosity. “I enjoy learning about others and adjusting my treatment style to best support people’s particular strengths and needs,” she explains. “Therapeutic work is significantly more effective when a strong alliance has been developed between the patient and provider.”
Amy has extensive experience working with patients who experience anxiety. “Particularly since the pandemic, there has been a significant increase in this,” she explains. “However, with proper treatment great improvement can be made. I like seeing people get better and feel a sense of accomplishment when I am able to support their emotional and mental wellbeing.”
When she is not busy with her patients, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dogs. She also loves going to the beach and reading.
