Andrew spent the first part of his career working in emergency medical services (EMS) and urgent care, which gave him a great background for his work in primary care. “I noticed there were many patients that I used to see in the ER that came in for concerns that didn’t really require an emergency room because they didn’t have a PCP or had trouble getting an appointment,” he explains. “That made me realize how important it was for people to have good primary care they could depend on.”
At Reliant, Andrew likes to work as a team with his patients to help them reach their health care goals whether it is an acute condition or a long-term health problem. Preventative medicine is also a very important part of the way Andrew likes to practice, “I really like to stress the importance of preventative care to my patients. I enjoy working closely with them to help keep them healthy, improve acute conditions, and keep chronic conditions stable so they don’t have to visit the emergency department.”
In his spare time Andrew loves to be active, including running, cycling and doing Orangetheory Fitness regularly. His favorite hobby is golf, which he truly enjoys.
