Namra became a psychologist because she wanted to provide a space where everyone could have their voices heard and help patients deal with the behavioral health challenges in their lives. “I believe that the mind and body cannot be separated,” she explains. “That’s why treatment needs to be carefully integrated to provide proper care. This is important for all individuals but especially for those who would otherwise not seek out assistance.”

In her work at Reliant, Namra believes in working with patients collaboratively, compassionately, and nonjudgmentally. Her clinical interests include integrative behavioral medicine, pain psychology, trauma-informed practices, mindfulness-based approaches, and culturally responsive care.

Namra believes her biggest challenge is helping patients overcome the stigma often associated with seeking out behavioral health services. In her work, she enjoys the ability to guide her patients in making the changes they wish to see in their lives. “I enjoy working with patients across the lifespan and have received specialized training in various trauma-informed treatments,” she explains. “I’m ready to work closely with my patients and use my knowledge to help them improve their lives.”

When she is not busy with patients Namra loves spending time with her family and traveling.
