Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Chris spent four years on active duty in the United States Army, earning the rank of Captain. Growing up, Chris was always involved in sports and athletic activities. āA career in orthopedics provides me with the opportunity to help other people continue to stay active and healthy, and enjoy the activities they love,ā he explains. Chris believes in building a trusting relationship with his patients and keeping them informed so they have a good understanding of their condition and management plan. āThe more informed patients are, the more comfortable and likely they are to play an active role in their treatment.ā During his free time, Chris enjoys being with his wife and two daughters; as well as golfing and watching his two favorite home teams, the Patriots and Red Sox.

Chris Leahy always explains everything to me showing my xrays and going over the treatment always asking how I feel about his advice and possible recommendations if the problem gets worse.
