A graduate of Seton Hall University, Joseph wanted to enter the medical field ever since he was a child. “I have always had a strong desire to help people. This, coupled with my fascination with the human body, made me believe a career as an advanced practitioner was the perfect choice for me.”

As a physician assistant (PA), Joseph has had the opportunity to work in different areas of medicine, but he enjoys working in orthopedics the best. “Orthopedics has been the most rewarding field to me as I am able to help people stay active, recover from their injuries, and return to the activities they enjoy,” he explains.

Educating patients is a large part of the work Joseph performs at Reliant. “A well-informed patient is better able to participate in their own treatment plan and medical decision-making,” he explains. One of the things that Joseph enjoys the most about being a PA is the variety of patient problems he can treat. “Every day is not the same when you work in orthopedics. Each patient is unique and comes with their own story and different issues. I really enjoy working closely with individual patients and I like the surgical aspect of orthopedics too.”

In his spare time Joseph enjoys hiking, golfing, and fishing as well as spending time with his family.
