Learn more about the Advanced Practice Clinician Collaborative
Savanna started her career working as an outpatient mental health provider, primarily with children. After a time, she decided to become a family nurse practitioner, caring for patients of all ages. “I chose to work in family practice because it allows me to provide much needed primary care services as well as incorporate my passion for mental health,” she explains.
Savanna believes in providing comprehensive care across the lifespan that is holistic and individualized to patient needs. “I love the fact that I am able to provide a wide range of care. I am very passionate about the integration of preventative care, mental health services, developmental assessment, chronic condition management, and patient education. I believe patients shouldn’t need to be seen by five providers before they feel like someone is actually listening to their concerns. However, I enjoy being part of a collaborative team that gives patients the high quality care they need to live a healthier life.”
When she is not busy helping patients, Savanna enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She is also an avid hiker and loves camping, traveling, and attending concerts. Savanna also enjoys gardening and crafting.
