Christine has been interested in healthcare for many years. “I have held many different positions in the healthcare field. During college, I worked as a patient care assistant and after I finished my undergraduate education I worked as a medical assistant in a dermatology office,” she explains. “Then while I was studying to be a nurse practitioner I worked at a children’s hospital, an outpatient pediatric office, and at a community health center in Boston. These were all great experiences for me.”
After becoming a nurse practitioner Christine chose to practice in primary care. “I like primary care because it allows me to develop long-term relationships with my patients, guiding them through every stage of their health journey,” she explains. “It’s rewarding to be the first point of contact for a wide range of health issues, and I love the opportunity to manage chronic conditions, promote healthy living, and detect problems early. Being able to offer comprehensive care and advocate for my patients’ overall well-being is what drew me to primary care.”
Christine enjoys her role as a nurse practitioner because she has always been passionate about caring for others and making a difference in their lives. “Nursing allows me to build meaningful connections with my patients while providing holistic, personalized care,” she explains. “As a nurse practitioner, I can focus on preventative care, educate patients about their health, and work collaboratively to develop treatment plans that can help them lead healthier lives.”
In her practice at Reliant Christine is very passionate about managing chronic disease and disease prevention. “I strive to empower my patients with the knowledge they need to succeed. I aim to partner with each of my patients to serve as an ally in their health journey – helping them become the best and healthiest versions of themselves. I also love the continuous learning that comes with my role in medicine. It’s exciting to stay up-to-date with the latest guidelines so I can provide the best care and share new insights with my patients.”
In her free time Christine likes to stay active and enjoys yoga, hiking, swimming, and exercising. She also enjoys trying new recipes, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
