Chris has a lot of diverse experience in the healthcare field. He started his career as a clinical exercise physiologist working in Pulmonology. After a time, he decided to make a career change and become an advanced practitioner in Orthopedics. Chris later made the decision to join the Urology department at Reliant.

“I wanted to build upon my previous experiences but focus more on helping people in a more direct and personal way,” he explains. “My education was focused on exercise science, physiology, biomechanics and strength and conditioning,” he explains. “Now, I really enjoy helping people with their urologic problems. I have always been fascinated by how the different systems in the body work.”

Chris says that his philosophy is rooted first and foremost on patient-centered care. “I am a big believer in shared decision-making where the treatment plan is created in a collaborative manner that respects a patient’s specific goals and needs,” he explains. Chris is a first-generation Greek-American and speaks Greek fluently. “I appreciate the challenges that non-English speakers face when navigating the healthcare system and I strive to help minimize those challenges.”

Chris enjoys interacting with his patients and having the ability to have a positive impact on their quality of life. “Urology, like other fields in medicine, is constantly evolving with new technologies and treatments to help patients and I really enjoy the opportunities for life-long learning.”
In his spare time, Chris likes staying active and enjoys running, biking, working out, and playing a variety of sports.
