Coming from a family with many members in the medical and scientific fields, it seemed natural for Meaghan to want to have a career as a caregiver. “I decided to become an advanced practitioner because it is a career that allows me to pair my love for science and medicine with my passion for working with people,” she explains. “I chose to practice in Family Medicine because I enjoy being able to take care of patients of all ages. I think it is really special to be involved in a patient’s care throughout different stages of their life.”

Meaghan says that when it comes to working with patients, she likes to focus on shared decision-making. “I like being able to educate my patients about their health, and give them options for care that we can work through together to ultimately decide what is best for them,” she explains.

In her spare time Meaghan enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with friends and family, and working on arts and crafts projects.
