Christine became an advanced practitioner because she loves working with patients and their families to promote optimal health. “I have always found healthcare fascinating,” she explains. “I love using my knowledge to help treat children when they are sick and guide families through the different stages of child development.”

Christine loves working in pediatrics because she believes all children deserve to enjoy optimal health regardless of their circumstances. “I really enjoy using my skills to help families raise healthy and happy children. Plus, I love hearing what children have to say when they visit and watching them grow throughout the years.”

In her practice at Reliant, Christine believes in a collaborative approach to care. “I like to partner with children and their families to help them achieve the best health they can,” she explains. “My goal is that my patients always feel like they were seen and heard at the end of the visit. I really love the relationships that I have built with patients, families and colleagues over time.”

Christine says the biggest challenge that she faces working in pediatrics is accepting that not all childhood illnesses can be prevented. “This helps motivate me to provide the highest quality care to my patients. I love the fact that pediatric healthcare is an ever-evolving field, with care that continues to improve.”

In her spare time Christine enjoys reading, cooking, running and spending time with her husband, their children and the family dog.
