Danielle started her career in healthcare back when she was in high school working as a certified nursing assistant. “I always knew I wanted to work in medicine,” she explains. “During high school I spent time shadowing two advanced practitioners and that was a big inspiration for my me.”
In her practice Danielle enjoys seeing a diverse range of patients and treating a wide range of problems. She believes it’s important to partner closely with each patient to ensure proper care. “Working as a team helps us understand each other and is important for the plan of care to be successful,” she explains.
Danielle knows that having a medical condition can be scary, but has found that open communication allows the patient to understand what to expect. “I believe in using my medical knowledge to educate patients as much as I can. This can help alleviate fear of the unknown and prevent obstacles to care.”
When she is not busy with patients Danielle enjoys hiking, kayaking, cycling, camping, and other outdoor activities.
