Kayleigh’s journey to becoming an advanced practitioner began with a childhood curiosity about how medications work. “I was captivated by the way one small pill could relieve pain or reduce swelling and was determined to understand the science behind it,” she explains.
At Reliant, Kayleigh is committed to providing holistic, patient-centered care, particularly in the area of mental health. “My mission is to ensure that every patient feels heard, respected, and supported in their journey to wellness,” she explains. “I believe all patients deserve dignity, compassion, and access to treatments that not only manage symptoms, but also strive for lasting healing.”
Kayleigh chose to practice in primary care because she is passionate about building long-term, therapeutic relationships with her patients. ““What I love about primary care is that it allows me to blend my interests in chronic disease management, preventative care, and health education, while also helping those who are undeserved,” she explains. “I’ve seen firsthand how crucial primary care is in improving the well-being of patients.”
Kayleigh believes that every patient deserves individualized, evidence-based treatment that acknowledges not only their physical symptoms but also their mental, emotional, and social well-being. “I strive to empower my patients so they can take an active role in their health. My goal is to not simply manage disease but to help patients achieve sustainable wellness and a sense of dignity in their care.”
Kayleigh says that what she loves the most about being an advanced practitioner is the opportunity to truly connect with patients. “I love to listen to their stories, understand their struggles, and work alongside them to find real, sustainable paths to better health,” she explains. “I love the fact that in my role I can have a positive impact on a person’s life.”
In her spare time Kayleigh enjoys a good mystery novel, and is also a big fan of true crime documentaries and podcasts. She also loves spending quality time with her daughter, cooking for friends and family, and enjoying a backyard barbecue.
