A graduate of MCPHS University and Worcester State University, Megan enjoys her role as an occupational therapist helping individuals overcome challenges that affect their daily activities and quality of life.
“Growing up, I often volunteered within my community, and through this exposure, I discovered occupational therapy isn’t confined to clinical settings, it exists wherever people need support to participate in life’s activities,” she explains. “This showed me that occupational therapy meets people where they are – the spaces and activities that are meaningful to them. Seeing occupational therapists in action revealed to me how they combine clinical expertise and compassion to help people participate fully in their communities.”
Megan likes to work closely with patients to identify what matters most to them and remove barriers to participation. “My goal is to always equip my patients with the knowledge and confidence to pursue the activities that define who they are,” she explains.
Megan has extensive experience in treating concussions, visual dysfunction and neurological conditions as well as upper extremity orthopedic injuries. “The focus of all my treatment sessions is to restore function, increase independence, and improve quality of life,” she explains. “What I love the most about being an occupational therapist is the opportunity to connect with my patients and help them work to become the best version of themselves. There’s something deeply rewarding about helping someone rediscover their independence. The relationships I build with my patients are truly meaningful, and seeing their progress motivates me to continue growing in my profession.
In her free time, Megan enjoys working out, skiing, and hiking. “I also love spending time with my family and friends as well as traveling and discovering new places.”
