Michelle has been an Occupational Therapist for over 16 years. A graduate of Worcester State College, Michelle became a Certified Hand Therapist in 1997. She has regularly spoken at educational seminars to update her peers on new techniques in hand therapy. According to Michelle, becoming a hand therapist gave her an opportunity to combine her desire to make a difference in people’s daily lives with her love of science. Michelle finds it very rewarding when a patient demonstrates the ability to successfully complete a task that they were previously unable to accomplish. Michelle is also a big believer in education. “One of my key roles is to successfully educate patients about their injury or surgery. This is crucial to help them follow through with the prescribed treatment programs and exercises necessary for a proper recovery.”
