One of the things that Tricie enjoys most about working in Family Practice at Reliant is the relationships she develops with her patients. “I really cherish the trust that we build with individuals and their families,” she explains. “To me this involves actively listening and getting to know my patients in an inclusive and respectful environment, so that we can work together to achieve their health goals.”

Tricie chose to work in primary care medicine because she enjoys practicing in the diverse community where she lives. “I value caring for my neighbors and their friends,” she explains. “I love seeing infants and children grow into young adults, and the privilege that comes with being a part of their pivotal moments in life. I particularly cherish the unique needs and concerns of our geriatric patients. I find that providing care to all members of the family, from birth through adulthood, provides a deeper, more enriching relationship that helps promote their wellness.” A “hands-on” caregiver, Patricia offers corticosteroid joint injections, laceration repair, incision and drainage of abscesses, contraception options including IUD and implanted devices, as well as wound care and skin biopsies.

In her free time, Tricie enjoys gardening and preserving, hiking and spending time with her family, her dog, and her chickens.
