Dr. Stephanie von Csiky-Sessoms, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with advanced fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery. She specializes in the treatment of skin cancer and complex facial reconstruction, combining precision and artistry to achieve outstanding clinical and cosmetic outcomes.

Dr. von Csiky-Sessoms earned her undergraduate degree in physics from Dartmouth College, where she focused on biological physics research. She completed her medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she also undertook a dedicated research fellowship in inflammatory skin diseases under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Lebwohl. After her intern year at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, she returned to Mount Sinai for dermatology residency, where she served as the Chief Resident during her final year. She went on to complete subspecialty training in Mohs micrographic surgery and facial reconstruction at the Medical University of South Carolina under Dr. Joel Cook, a nationally recognized leader in the field.

Dr. von Csiky-Sessoms is an active contributor to the fields of dermatology and dermatologic surgery, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, Journal of Dermatologic Surgery, and Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. She regularly presents at national and international conferences and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.
