A graduate of Worcester State College and William James College, Julie has always wanted to help people heal from the impact of loss and trauma and provide support during their darkest times.
A Master’s Level clinician, Julie believes in taking a humanistic approach to treatment and viewing her patients as fellow human beings with the therapeutic relationship between them as the key vehicle for change.
Prior to her current role as a DBT clinician, Julie worked primarily with children, adolescents and families in a community mental health setting specializing in treating trauma and attachment related issues. “I am passionate about providing compassionate and effective treatment to some of our most vulnerable and marginalized populations,” she explains. “I find it rewarding to bear witness to my patients bravely facing their challenges, observing their resiliency and strength in action, and being a part of the healing process with them.”
When she is not busy helping patients, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets, reading, doing puzzles, and working on her home.
