“A healthy diet, daily exercise, and reducing stress can really improve your health.”
From a young age, Dr. Muhammad Mowla was inspired by his family to pursue a career in medicine. “They taught me that being a doctor is a noble profession. One that allows you to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” he says. “I’m very grateful that I chose to become a physician, as it gives me the opportunity to help so many individuals.”
Dr. Mowla believes that exceptional patient care begins with strong collaboration among healthcare professionals. “At Reliant, we’re fortunate to have a wide network of dedicated specialists,” he explains. “If a patient needs to see an endocrinologist or an orthopedist, I can easily refer them. It makes coordinating their care much easier.”
His clinical interests include diabetes, high blood pressure, COPD, and the management of stress and anxiety. Dr. Mowla emphasizes the importance of preventive medicine. “Regular health screenings are vital,” he notes. “By identifying diseases early, we can treat them more effectively and help patients stay healthier for longer. I always remind my patients that prevention is one of the most powerful tools for maintaining good health.”
When caring for patients with diabetes, Dr. Mowla focuses first on lifestyle modifications. “Many patients see remarkable improvements through healthy eating and regular exercise,” he explains. “Even for those who take medication, maintaining an active lifestyle and managing stress can significantly enhance overall health and well-being.”
Outside of his practice, Dr. Mowla enjoys spending quality time with his family and exploring the outdoors. He also loves to travel, take photographs, and create entertaining family vlogs.
