At Reliant, we practice team-based care, with patients at the center of a team of healthcare experts made up of physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses and MAs. As critical members of the care team, our MAs do more than just take vital signs. They have the opportunity to perform phlebotomy, spirometry, EKGs, and assist physicians and others with simple to complex clinical procedures. They also participate in team huddles, chart reviews and more.
