Overall Patient Rating
4.9 out of 5 stars - 51 total ratingsA graduate of the Duke University Physician Assistant Program, Andrew has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2012. “I always felt that becoming an advanced practitioner provided me with the best opportunity to focus my career on direct patient care, which I find incredibly rewarding to do each day.”
Andrew enjoys practicing in primary care because it allows him to have a greater influence on the health and longevity of those he treats. He believes that encouraging patients to exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet can prevent many chronic diseases and promote longer, fuller lives. “I often tell my young patients, especially new parents, that my goal is to help them become the type of grandparent who enjoys a life free from physical limitations,” he explains. Andrew believes that helping patients make small changes that improve their short-term well-being helps contribute to a longer, more vital life. He often tells patients that “A gram of prevention is worth a ton of cure.”
When he is not busy helping patients at Reliant, Andrew enjoy spending time with his family, including his wife Lisa and their two sons. He also has a passion for weight-lifting, running, and his two favorite sports teams – the Buffalo Bills and the New York Mets.
