A graduate of Fitchburg State University and MCPHS University, Janitza started her career as a nurse in Emergency Medicine and then transitioned to practicing in Family Medicine as a Physician Assistant. “I wanted to evolve and push the boundaries of my abilities so I could make a more meaningful impact,” she explains.

Now working in Pre-admission Testing (PAT), Janitza enjoys contributing to patient safety and educating her patients on the procedures they are about to undergo. “A patient is a whole being, not just a body part or a procedure. I like to combine individual, patient-centered care while being sensitive to the patient’s needs. I treat patients with respect, dignity, compassion and cultural sensitivity,” she explains. “I enjoy being part of a team, helping patients to navigate health challenges and making a positive impact.”

In her spare time Janitza enjoys spending time with family, reading and listening to books, traveling, and crafting.
