Maureen started her career as a nurse and truly enjoyed the experience before deciding to become an advanced practitioner. “I wanted to continue to learn and grow in my career,” she explains. “My role as an advanced practitioner constantly encourages me to seek more knowledge while continuing to provide the best in care to children and their families.”
In her practice at Reliant Maureen is very passionate about treating children of all ages and every stage of life. “I enjoy providing evidence-based care and supporting parents when their child is ill as well as managing all aspects of their child’s wellness.”
Maureen enjoys the ability to form partnerships with parents and their children to ensure good health. “I enjoy teaching parents and children and hope to empower them to make positive lifestyle and healthcare decisions,” she explains. “My goal is to ensure my patients and their families feel heard and their concerns are always addressed.” As an advanced practitioner, Maureen says what she enjoys the most about her work is the connections she makes with people. “That really makes my day for me.”
In her spare time Maureen enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as walking, hiking and reading. She also loves being at the ocean and traveling.
