It’s not uncommon for people to report that their dreams appear to be more vivid after eating a spicy meal. While there are no studies that show that spicy foods can induce nightmares or particularly vivid dreams, scientists believe that eating spicy foods can increase body temperature and cause sleep to be less sound –which makes it a lot easier for people to remember their dreams. So if you want to get a good night’s sleep, you may want to reconsider ordering that chicken Sriracha for dinner.
