5 Reliant Offices Named MHQP Patient Experience Award Winners

Feb 4, 2022 / News / Reliant Awards

Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP), an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of the patient care experience, surveys patients annually for their MHQP Patient Experience Awards. The results of the survey are used to identify the top-ranking adult and pediatric primary care practices in nine key performance categories. The MHQP awards are unique, as it is the patients themselves that determine the winners by their responses to the survey – the only one of its kind throughout Massachusetts. Recognition is given in the following categories:

  • Patient-Provider Communications
  • Coordinating Patient Care
  • How Well Providers Know Their Patients
  • Assessment of Patient Behavioral Health Issues
  • Ease of Access to Care
  • Empowering Patient Self Care
  • Office Staff Professional Excellence
  • Pediatric Preventive Care
  • Assessment of Child Development

Congratulations are in order for the following Reliant primary care departments, which have been recognized as being among the top practices in the state for delivering best-in-class patient experience:

  • Auburn: Patient-Provider Communications (Adult care)
  • Holden: Patient-Provider Communications (Adult care)
  • Westborough: Patient-Provider Communications (Adult care)
  • Framingham Pediatrics: Patient-Provider Communications
  • Milford Pediatrics: Pediatric Preventive Care

Each of the award winners is receiving a plaque to proudly display at their sites. In addition, all award recipients will be announced and celebrated at a virtual meeting held on Wednesday, February 16th where they will have the opportunity to share their “best practice” ideas.
