The CDC has updated its health guidelines for those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. You are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after your 2nd dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or 2 weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
While it’s still important to follow safety precautions, if you are fully vaccinated you can:
- Visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or staying 6 feet apart.
- Visit with unvaccinated people from one other household indoors without wearing masks or staying 6 feet apart if everyone in the other
household is at low risk for severe disease. - Refrain from quarantine and testing following a known exposure to someone with Covid-19 if you do not have symptoms of Covid-19.
