“By creating a personal experience with each patient, I can better understand their condition and create an individualized treatment plan that helps ensure a positive result.”
Kim became interested in Physical Therapy when she was a dancer in college. Dancing made her want to learn more about how the human body worked and the proper mechanics of dancing. She often liked to advise her fellow dancers on how to avoid injuries. “Being an outgoing person, I enjoyed the interaction with others,” she explains. “So, I thought of combining my two interests in order to make a difference in the lives of others; that’s what really drove my career path.”
In her practice Kim enjoys working with all different types of patients and works hard to understand their specific needs. “Every patient presents with different challenges, which drives me to approach every case with different treatment techniques,” she explains. “By creating a personal experience with each patient, I can better understand their condition and create an individualized treatment plan that helps ensure a positive result.”
Kim has advanced training and experience in treating neurological disorders (PD, CVA, MS, TBI, vestibular) as well as falls prevention and recovery in older adults. She is also an expert in helping dancers and gymnasts recover from injury. Kim enjoys getting to know her patients and using her skills to make a positive change in their life.
When she is not treating patients, Kim enjoys cooking, hiking and traveling as well as photography, skiing, and golf.
