Nurse Practitioner Sabrina Couture is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester with a Master’s of Science in Nursing. Sabrina has two decades of experience in nursing, starting as a LPN and now as a Nurse Practitioner. Sabrina decided to further her education so she would be able to help her patients more. “Becoming a Nurse Practitioner just seemed like the next logical step in providing holistic care to my patients,” she explains. Sabrina enjoys being able to provide care to the geriatric population. “Geriatrics is special to me because I am able to help one of our most vulnerable populations stay healthy, safe and dignified. I am also able to learn from my patients who have so much wisdom to share.” In her role as a caregiver Sabrina believes that it’s important to work closely with families. “The health and illness of an individual affects the family as a whole, so being able to work with the families has always been important to me because they provide another layer of support to the patient.” In her spare time Sabrina enjoys her book club, going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three boys.
