You’ve probably been hearing a lot about Enterovirus D68, a respiratory virus affecting children, in the news recently. An unusually high amount of cases have been reported throughout the country and a handful of suspected cases have been reported in Massachusetts in the last day or so. Pediatrician Dr. Joanne Samant took a few minutes to sit down and share with us exactly what this virus is, symptoms parents should watch for and how it’s treated.
