A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and Stonybrook University, Johanna first worked as a nurse in a Pediatric ICU before becoming an advanced practitioner. “I have always loved working with children and their families,” she explains. “And as a caregiver, I have always sought to advocate for children who cannot often advocate for themselves.”
Johanna loves seeing pediatric patients through all stages of development from birth to young adulthood. No matter the changes in medicine, she prides herself on the fact that she takes time to carefully listen to her patients and their families. “They will always have my undivided, individual attention during their visits,” she explains.
When she is not busy helping patients, Johanna loves to spend time outdoors, hiking, running and kayaking. She also enjoys supporting her three children in all of their endeavors.
